I wish

A project from second year of university, to create a picture book; The cover, endpapers and five spreads. The pages I have included below are the finals from the book project, the rest of the spreads were compositional sketches.

I wish is a story I wrote inspired by our class drawing trip to Lisbon, specifically the architecture and colours. We follow ‘Tele Branco’ a town meaning ‘no colour’ and the greed and overconsumption its people face when gifted a magical wishing fountain. Community and love will bring the town back together again.

I created this using a mixture of gouache, coloured pencils, collage and digital art.
